Hello again, yeah, well, as good as euro bricks is, i thought it would be better if it had a car topic here, i have seen there are afew people who have "cars" under there interests, so welcome. We can talk about new car realises, up-coming auto shows, or anything else that falls under cars.

First question, what do people think of the alfa 8C? This i *wub* it, and can't wait till we start seeing it on the roads.

Cool topic ;-) I am a car fanatic myself hehe !!

To answer your question: its a thing of beauty but I'm sure its fragile and crap !! Owning a 147 2.0l Selespeed, I can tell you Alfa sucks big time regarding electronics, engine and whaty have you !! Its my first and last italian car !!

My dad and i both like italian cars, having a ferrari 355 belinetta in rosso red. it's a great car, can reach 183MPH, has a V8 engine, good space in the boot suprisingly, and the interior is very nice, seats are very comfy.

It's basically a race car with leather seats. We have won some awards for it, i took pictures of them last night and i should have them uploaded any time.

This could be one of the best years for new cars, along with the 8C, i'm exicted about the renault twingo

Not so fussed about thes big american bruisers mind you, like the intereceptor and camaro. May be good cars, but my, their pig ugly IMO.

What do you think about the Jaguar CX-F? Seen it all before, i'd be so suprised if they actuly made the final car like that.

Well, i may get a picture up of my ferrari, but as you can appriciate, i can't show the registration plate on it for obiouse reasons.

Yeah- me and my dad like old ferraris, as we have said to other people, we never really liked the bulky design of the 360, so we got the one before, the 355. The enzo is okay, but way to chunky, the 599 and 612 are brilliant, and the 430 is marginally better than the 360 IMO.

Okay, this is when it first came, we don't have this registration plate any more, nobody does, it came from the dealers shop, we have a diffrent one now. Our ferrari

*sad* We've got a Honda Civic. Nice car, comfy, stylish, and clean-cut. Ours is Dark Grey though. The one in the pic is 'champagne grey.'

As far as cars go, I'm more of a fan of older cars, like the MGB GT and this, the Ford Cortina (don't know why), currently featuring in Life on Mars on the BBC. As for modern cars, I do like the Jaguar XK. I wouldn't drive any of them, but to look at, wow.

Nice Ferrari, btw

Well, the other "supercar" that we have in our garage is a lotus elan. The picture i will show is not ours, but an example of ours. This car is very special to the whole of our family, as my dad bought it as a burned out wreck, but restored it himself. It's also the car my mum and dad got married in.Lotus elise

Our actual one is blue and gold.

Ferraris, new age Civics and vintage Mustangs, oh my! I never knew there were so many people here with such cars! Then again, considering how expensive LEGO is as a hobby, I shouldn't be surprised! ;-)

Anyhoo, I'm up in the great white north, so we can't have these nice things. See, when winter rolls around, it destroys all the good looking cars. It's not the snow though! It's the salt! Let's just say our traffic commission is a tad... Erm... Overzealous. Every time it's reported to snow 1 cm, they fill the roads up with as much salt possible. 'Tis a bad time to have a shiny car! Because we're a small family (only child), we have one of these puppies:

It's exactly the same as the one in the photo, only with less glamorous photoshoping.

That volvo is actuly okay, i don't mind that design.

Abit back my dad was thinking of geting an F430 but i don't think he does now, we have no room in the garage! :-D

You like your classic american cars don't you? Their is a couple of ferraris in my area, a blue 360 spider, and 348 and a yellow 355 as well. Their is an aston martin around here as well, but i'd take ferraris over astons any day of the week! *y* X-D

Not nearly as nice as this

F40.jpg I heard when the workers were shown the first picture of this car, one worker wet him self with delight

IMO all astons look the same- they never change the design of the car, but at least with ferraris you can tell the diffrence between the cars.. :-D

I don't know, I prefer the Aston. But then I'm not really a big Ferrari fan.

My God! Look at these:

Mazda Nagare Concept

Mazda Ryuga Concept (in the front)

And to top it off, Mazda Hakaze Concept

:-X The last one's not quite so bad, but bright yellow?

I think they just look too futuristic. In 10-20 years time fine, but not now. Then again, if they're not designed now we won't have them in 10-20 years time, so maybe I'm wrong. Its happened before.

Indeed! We also had a '60 chevrolet Impala coupe:

But with a green top.

And a lincoln continental mark V:

But with a complete white roof.

I don't know brainbox, the problem with concepts is that they are never going to be made like that in a trillion years. The purpose of concept cars is just an exercise for the builders and showing to people what they are capable, but, in a car poster i have just got that says about all the cars that are being realised this year, those 3 did not come up, so they are not going to be made this year. When they are finnaly made, i bet that they'll won't have any of the fancy gadgets they have now or even look like that.

Mr. Tiber- Those are the sort of american cars i like, i mean they could actuly turn courners, were not made of plastic *cough* corvette *cough* and actuly had character.

I envy you

To top it off about my point look at these two cars DBS and V8 vantage anyone care to tell me the diffrences in both cars? I can't tell :-P :-D

But with the F40 and the P4/5 you can actuly tell it's a diffrent car in a didn't tell you.

I am an absolute fan of old US muscle cars and the Shelby Pony was definitly one odf them !! However, I always disliked the Cobra Insigna on a Shelby ;-)

The classic 350 and 500 Shelbys had the original Pony emblem, and the Cobra emblem has nothing to do with Carol Shelby at the origins...but I digress ;-)

I will definitly buy a '69 fastback as soon as I live in the US :-P

Pony On !!

They chose that police lambo for a reason- that's in italy by the look of it, and having been to italy quite afew times i can tell you- there are PLENTY of fast cars there. No good chasing a 250 MPH buggati veyron in a 110 MPH vauxhall astra now is there? X-D

I quite like mustangs- the originals in good nik are fenomenal. That mustang is okay that you pointed out casewindu, but IMO that one has had some unessary "chaved-up" styling. Yeah- you guessed it- i hate modified cars. I don't see the point in spending more money on your car with music systems and "rims" than it costs just to buy a better car.

Its stiull a lot more sober than any Saleen IMO :-D

I am like you, I am not a real fan of pimpin' for classic cars !! I think its kind of okayish for non classic cars !!

Having said that, I will disagree with myslef on one point !! The only mod I would consider on a future car is Lambo's door opening 8-

Well, there are seven people in my family, so we have a Suburban, a Truck, and a Trooper.

But, my mom does have a cool and sorta cheap sports car, the Audi A8.

It looks like this, only it is black.

audi_a8_photo_1.jpg

Myself? Well, I'm only thirteen, but I like Ferraris, Lamborghini's, Range Rovers, and Mustangs. Since Mustangs are cheap, I'll probably buy a car like that when I turn 16.
