InfiniteLEGO Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I'm new and hopefully in the right place, but I was trying to upload my LDD model and it will not generate a building guide. I've left it on over night, and tried re-booting, but after about an 1/16th of an inch progress, the dialog box just sits there. The model is quite large (26,000 bricks) - is there an LDD size or brick limitation? Any thoughts, ideas or help is most appreciated. Quote
Dhivael Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 at 26,000 bricks, yeah, you're probably going to run into some trouble. Can you split the model into sections/parts and run it that way? I usually start having issues about 3,000 bricks. It may or may not actually be frozen, it's just going to take a good long while to process. Quote
InfiniteLEGO Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 Thank you Dhivael. I figured as much - judging by the task manager diagnostics, LDD freezes up (while it occupies a good deal of system memory, the amount is static and does not change). The model is a building and I have not had much success breaking it into pieces. LDD on my computer simply stops working around 30,000 bricks. Quote
SegaraGeni Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 i can open 10,000 bricks. i tried to open nostromo LDD and stoped. idk how much bricks it has Quote
