aqaz Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Hello any one who looks, I have taken up Lego since I retired at new year. I did this for two reasons; First, I wanted to make a remote controlled Renault Magnum like the one I used to drive a few years ago. Second, There is not a commercially available model of said truck. Since I spent many hours doing Lego thirty odd years ago with my son, I imagined that I could build my truck relatively cheaply without having to manufacture loads of parts to fit with Wedico or Tamiya truck parts..... 4 months and £1000 later.... Anyway, the Magnum is now finished, along with two of the planned six trailers, as are a number of diggers and loaders in approximately the same scale that I have worked in, 1:17.3. Along the way I discovered this sites technic forum that helped with some problems that arose, and continues to do so.... So finally I had to join so that I can ask questions when they arise rather than long involved searches to find my answers. Andrew. Quote
