I really want the 8265 loader to go with my 8043 excavator and I keep hoping to find one under $200 but that does not seem possible, especially here in the U.S.

Is this set worth dropping $200+ on or should I wait for the next big Technic loader? Maybe in 2014 since it would be five years since the 8265?

I bought it used 1 year agoo in Germany and paid 70euro. I liked it, dont really tell you if it's worthy 200$.. some say it's better the 8459.

have a look at this I found in UK

As a part package for building loaders it is good, and as a set it may be a bit over average, but it's definitely not worth $200. That said, I bought two, one for the parts for a project I lacked a lot of yellow parts and LA's, and the other to mod into a full RC loader. I'm not done with the second, and still has it on a shelf awaiting a rebuild. It should not be to hard, it's just that I haven't had the time yet. If you are thinking of using it with 8043 I guess you would like to RC it? If you get it and do, I would be interested to see your result.
