// Location: Southern Shelf, Ahven

// Time: 12:49 P.M.

// Unit: Ahvenian 17th Task Force

This is not what we needed. After our investigation at the shield relay, we picked up radio static roughly about 45 minutes away from our location. Upon our arrival, one of our soldiers made a dash towards us only to be gunned down by plasma fire. My squad and I immediately took cover only to see Falkrinean soldiers returning fire. To make matters worse, two of them are commandos; I recognized their railgun fire. These soldiers are up to something and we have to push forward and find out. I can only hope we survive this engagement.

Overall MOC

Day Four of the ongoing conflict.

Falkrinean decals come from Saber-Scorpion

I tried using several orange angular pieces to represent gunshots; I think it worked out decently for a first attempt.

Anyways Day 5 and 6 are going to be postponed while I'm away for the weekend.

As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated.

I liked alot of the things that you did in this one. The detail of the dirt looks well placed and realistic.

The orange wedges looked ok. Maybe if you pointed them all one direction and used a different color to represent enemy fire and pointed them the opposite you might have a more authentic blaster bolt effect?

The orange looks slightly strange, but it's pretty much one of only two ways to show gunfire, the other being 1x1 rounds in tr. yellow. Anyway, your building style is improving drastically. Good MOC :thumbup:.
