Are these official sets as in numbered an all that. We got the one at Easter... A friends thingy.. And then again today the Star Wars mini thing. If you have done them before.. They are all just pieces in a box and you walk down the line and collect the pieces and put them in a bag yourself. I just threw them in my "no idea what do do with this box" but I thought I would seek the wisdom of the fellows here to see how people thought of them.

I've heard they have actual builds. I think they did one yesterday for May the Fourth. From what I can tell it is similar to the mini builds at the LEGO store. I've never done any of them, so I can't be for sure.

They don't come in a poly bag but they DO come with an actual instruction page that's from LEGO. The one from TRU yesterday has a single two sided glossy page for a Jek-14 stealth fighter. 40 pieces.

Hi!

To my knowledge there can be both numbered and unumbered sets. The numbered ones are like this one:

3772 Treasure Tomb, TRU exclusive

More interesting and what I think you really mean is when they have an assortment of parts that you yourself pick and put in a bag and get instructions and stickers also. Examples on those are:

Torque Redline from Cars

Harry Potter Quidditch Tower

I have both of them and there pretty nice sets, nothing really extra though.

Here is a list of Bricklinks TRU Co-Branded Items.

That one you can see the instructions here from 1000steine.
