Hyphos Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 (edited) Hi As a fan of sci-fi, one of the most emblematic series for me was the Space 1999. Following that I made several Eagle from that series. Some pictures With the normal transport module With the medical module With the lab module Other photos can be seen in my brickshelf gallery http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=525532 http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=483461 Also made a Military Eagle based on the sketch found on the Net, not from the series, but based on the same logic Brickshelf gallery for the military eagle http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=522927 Enjoy Edited May 5, 2013 by Hyphos Quote
rongYIREN Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Very nice work on these Eagles, I'm especially fond of the medical version. Quote
DraikNova Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Pretty nice. They're simple, so they're sleek, but they've also got just a few details to keep it interesting. Quote
robuko Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 These are great! Very nice work on the engines especially. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Too cool......pity though they are not minifig scale......now if memory serves me correct all Eagles had a laser cannon mounted under their cockpits too. I hope to see more 'Hyphos' and Brick On ! Quote
LuxorV Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Nice rendition of a classic TV series star. I like the small 'buggy', too. P.S. - Could you please reduce the pics size to 800 pixels maximum, as per our Member Guidelines? Thank you. If you need help with re-sizing images, you can find an useful tutorial by following the link in my signature. Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Wow brings back memories... The different eagles are nice. Quote
Praiter Yed Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Nice Eagles! And some good part usage to create the impression of the outer frame. The Medical version is definitely my favourite - the red stripes just add a nice splash of colour. Space 1999 was possibly the favourite sci-fi show of my youth and I've often considered building an Eagle myself - now I might just copy yours! Quote
