Vader Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 They have been over the last year or so but i find that they all sell different sets cheap so you may have to hunt around for them. Failing that they can be cheap on ebay, i bought a few for around
MattZitron Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 What's TK Maxx? :o Its like a cheaper Debenhams. I think.
Vader Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Yeah alot cheaper but no where near as good, also be prepaired to hunt for there lego sets as they keep them all over the place.
Bloke Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Hehe, TK Maxx is like one massive jumble sale, you do have to literally hunt through a lot of stuff to eventually get to anything any good. I think they get all the old cast offs from catalogue shops etc and flog em off cheap. In the past i have picked up final duel 2's for 2 quid each, Jabba's message and Prize for 3 quid each...basically if you have the time to hunt through you can find some good stuff. Bloke
mutley777 Posted February 17, 2005 Author Posted February 17, 2005 you can get some good deals if you look around the store. i once found a ucs yoda for
Vader Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 A giant jumble sale is probably the best way ive ever heard of describing it, theres stuff everywhere and nothing is ever where its supposed to be.
MattZitron Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Mos Eisley's out of stock! Wanted to get a second. PooPoo! Anyone know any other online toyshops in the UK that have Lego sales?
stan Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Woolworths.co.uk and Argos.co.uk But Woolworths havent had much on sale recently. And Argos just had there big end of season sale. I think we will have to wait until next year for more of their sales.
Vader Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Sales over here just plain suck when it comes to Star Wars sets :'(
MattZitron Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Woolworths.co.ukand Argos.co.uk But Woolworths havent had much on sale recently. And Argos just had there big end of season sale. I think we will have to wait until next year for more of their sales. I benefitted from Argos' sale. I got the Titan XP, Dr.Octropus' Bank Robbery, AND the Knights Kingdom Castle all half price!!! The best was the castle for
The Middleman Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 And they say European people don't get any good deals. I'd kill for those!
