RoyalBrickCustoms Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 (edited) Hey everyone, I've been working on some custom cape designs, and was wondering how I could mass produce the fabric parts repeatedly. I know I can always get out my trusty pair of scissors and just start cutting out the designs by hand, but then I had another idea: "Why not use (or create) a "cookie cutter" type object of the cape design and use that to cut out the design." Has anyone ever thought of this, or tried it? Tell me what y'all think of this idea in the comments below. :) ~RBC Edited May 2, 2013 by RoyalBrickCustoms Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Making a kind of hole-punch with a cape pattern would be great, you could pop-out capes quickly. Custom-ordering a device like that would be kinda expensive though, might be [marginally?] cheaper to have someone make a stamp version instead, where you use a hammer to whack the stamp into the paper/fabric to punch out the design.
