nebraska Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Sorry. no pictures. I don't trust her with my camera. My daughter has seen me reading the reviews of sets on Eurobricks and after building the Turtles set she decided to write out a review. Here we go: "What I like about the turtle set is the turtle. He is sooooo cute!!! I like his little hideout. I like the grass too. It's a cute little touch. My dislikes are the island is too small. I want it bigger and this set is too easy to make. I think the turtle should have a bed in the hideout and I wish I could make the clam and turtle out of Lego parts. That's what I think of Turtle Island. I think other kids should buy it as it's a really good set." Quote
Locomotive Annie Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Oh that's lovely. I haven't purchased any of the Friends animal polybags yet so perhaps I should now that I've read your daughter's review. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 One word....cute. You should get her the cat one......my wife loves her set I put together for her....the little black and white cat is similar to her's back when she was a young teenage girl. Quote
Pandora Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 It's really cute to hear your daughter's opinions on this set, and I'm sure TLG would find this kind of feedback nice to read too. It's also great to hear you and your daughter like reading the reviews here. I hope you don't mind, but I've edited your topic title to make it slightly less misleading. Quote
Chocolatecake Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 So cute. It's rare the kids voice is hear and they are still the primary targetgroup. For that review about the tiny island, her parent(s) bought an extra for her? Quote
Chocolatecake Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Go away with it, Friends is Special, not Town Welcome to EB, but this is not the way to enter a forum. If you look closer, Friends are a part of Town and not special. Quote
Amte Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Friends are a special part of Town, maybe suburb. how old are these girls when they are allowed to drive a car and plane? Quote
Pandora Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Friends are a special part of Town, maybe suburb. how old are these girls when they are allowed to drive a car and plane? Hello Amte and welcome to EB. Friends is very much based here in Town, but MOCs and topics can also be found all over EB. All of the Friends information can be found in the Friends Hub, right here in Town. If you'd like to discuss the age of the Friends, and how they are able to drive/pilot vehicles, then please join the discussion in this thread, where that very topic is currently being discussed. Otherwise, please keep discussion in this thread relevant to this particular thread, thank you. Quote
