MrNumbskull13 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I am wanting to plan a Lego Trial Truck on LDD but before I start I want to know this: what is the best portal hub/axle design? I do not have the official Lego ones used in the Unimog and the 4x4 Crawler. I was hoping some people will have instructions or pictures, I have tried a few myself and I found that a slightly modded version of 1nxtmonster's design was best for me, what do you guys think? Thanks in advance! Quote
legomuppet9 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Nico71 has instructions for some good axles, zblj has LDD files for most of his TT's (I think) in his brickshelf... That's to name but two builders. Quote
cgg199 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I always use Zblj's design. It's very robust, and can sit inside the wheel, maximising ground clearance. Quote
Someonenamedjon Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Do you guys have a link for their portal hubs? Quote
DLuders Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Using his Building Instructions, I have built Zblj's LYNX (Trial Truck 10), which is pictured on this Brickshelf gallery and on Rebrickable: Quote
