oirad 72 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) Hello guys! This is an old moc of mine created almost 4 years ago when I thought about using the firemen truck and modifying it with the old system 9W light & sound On the first floor there's the market while on the second floor you can see a hardware store. On the last one there's an armery where the fire actually started. If you like, you can see other pictures on my flickr page. Hope you like it and please tell me what you think! Brick on! Kivi Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 The scorched facade is an interesting detail. I hope there are not any explosive things stored where the fire started. However, even without the fire element the building itself is very interesting and the interior is nicely furnished. I like especially the refrigerators on ground floor. Well done! Quote
rriggs Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) Loving the L&S in the fire engine - I shall be nicking that idea for a couple of my fire engines very shortly.... While the general store itself has a lovely interior I can't help thinking that they should really have been evacuated until the fire brigade had cleaned up and gone! Cheers Rog Edited April 21, 2013 by rriggs Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Nicely modified fire truck....for that extra reach and a very impressive building......tons of interior detail.....any guess where the fire started......guns on the top floor ? If the fire got worse, the fire fighters could have fried fish for lunch ! Brick On 'olrad 72' ! Quote
eurotrash Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 That charred facade is very effectively done. Looks good. Quote
Andy D Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Very nice. Lots of nice interior detail, and I really like the fire damaged exterior treatment. Andy D Quote
L@go Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I have to agree that this is a very nicely designed building, inside and out - even if you don't take the fire damage into account. But that detail is something that makes it stand out a lot - it's just different than everything else. Plus, the blackened section does look both realistic and well done. I'm impressed! Quote
Legogal Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Nice fire damage on the exterior, and I like the fridges on the first floor, too. The details make this interesting; great work! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Excellent job oirad 72! It's detailed very nicely, I really like the third floor, and great job on the damaged exterior. Very realistic Quote

timmyc1983 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I echo most people's posts, great detail with the fire damage and even without it the building is lovely. Very clever all around! Happy building Quote
LegoMyMamma Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 My favorite parts are the transition to the burned area, the cold food cases, the display cases on top floor, and that Firefighters catching net is very clever! Quote
Orange Leader Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I like how you made the cashier desk, using windscreen panels. Overall a great building. Quote
