daveybai Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Hi, I've recently started using BlueBrick to document my layout before I tear it down to start a new one. (Why BlueBrick? TLC's web-based tool is too simplistic and LDD runs like a dog on my system. And I kind of like the single-focus nature of BlueBrick. ) It's a pretty simple layout, mainly a "figure 8" that elevates along its route so the crossover goes over itself. I can throw down the track in BlueBrick easily enough, but I can't figure out how to specify the elevation, or if that's even possible. Does anyone know? I've searched every resource I can find (including this awesome site) to no avail. - While I'm at it, has anyone else had trouble playing the BlueBrick tutorials on YouTube? I can play the first English one but not the 2nd or 3rd, or even many of the non-English ones. Thanks, -dave Quote
daveybai Posted April 20, 2013 Author Posted April 20, 2013 I am told by a reliable source that there is no way to set a height in BlueBrick for now. As a workaround, you can export the BBM file into LDraw format, open the LDR/MPD file in an LDraw program, and modify the height of the parts. Though you could then import the LDR/MPD file back into BlueBrick, you wouldn't want to (export loses lots of data and you won't see the heights in BlueBrick). Interesting, huh? Quote
