Looking forward to this. Not as much as IM3, Thor, or The Desolation of Smaug, but it's right after those. I'm really enjoying getting to see different things you didn't get to in the books,

I am ready for this one! The first movie was awesome! The way they filmed the movie made it feel like what i read in the book. That made me able to connect to the movie a little bit more. however i will always be a firm believer that the book series is better than the movies will ever be. There is more description and you get more information on what katness is thinking, where as in the movie you just see her standing there.

November can't come fast enough for me(this year, '14 & '15 for that matter). Catching Fire is my favorite of the three, so I'm so ready for this.

Catching Fire is your favorite? Why?The best (in my opinion) was the first of the series-The Hunger Games.

(Sorry if I sound a little accusative)

Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed Catching Fire, but it seemed to get off to a slow start, where as in The Hunger Games and Mockingjay the action starts in the first couple chapters.

I don't mean to say it is terrible just (to me) not as good.

On a lighter note I think we can both say that the Hunger Games Trilogy would make some awesome LEGO sets.

Catching Fire is my favorite too. Finnick is great, and I love the whole clock thing.

Basically. I enjoyed this arena moreso than the first. Finnick is definitely a neat character, Johanna too. All the other notable victors are too. Overall I enjoyed the book, on it's own, best. But I absolutely love the series.

And a HUGE thumbs up to sets, I'd buy them all no matter what.

NO! NOT JOHANNA! sorry, I unfortunately have met someone very unpleasant who's name is Johanna and now I loathe the character.

I'm pretty pumped for this too. I don't know if I will see it in theater, but maybe. I watched the first one on Netflix, then decided to read the books. I ended up reading all three books in less than a week. Very easy reads for sure. I did enjoy all three of them, but they all had a different feel basically based on location. I think the trailer looks way different than what the book was, but I think that is because they don't want to show everything in the trailers (unlike some movies). I'm excited to see how the characters play off of each other and how they present the clock.

another stupid Hunger Games movie, I wish someone would just retire this lame film franchise and burn all of the books.

Ya know, you could actually explain yourself instead of just saying "oh it's stupid I don't like it." :hmpf::wall:

Here is a innovating thing you could do, it is called ignoring the things you don't like! Seriously man, this is a Hunger Games topic and you happen to have a distaste for the Hunger Games so why bother visiting this topic and, like Tolkien said, you didn't give any reasons for why you dislike it. I understand if you don't like it, everyone has thier own opinions, but there are people (like me) who love the Hunger Games trilogy. So please take the negativity somewhere else please.

Hey! My girlfriend's called Johanna!

Personally, and this might sound odd, but whilst I love the Hunger Games, not the biggest fan of how it's written. Much prefer things when it's like someone's telling you a story of their adventures than it all seeming to take place as you read.

Still, as I said, love the series and the first film and very much looking forward to Catching Fire!

While I'm sure the Catching Fire movie will be good, it was my least favorite in the series. Personally I can't wait until the Mockingjay movie(s), that's the only book that I think should be split into two movies as the book itself felt as if it had two major acts, but while I thought that the first movie didn't live up to the hype, the trailer for Catching Fire has my hopes up again and I can't wait to see more!

Isn't the last movie being split? I thought I read that. Probably a good idea for them to cram everything in and make more money whilst doing it...
