Toa_Of_Justice Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I originally intended to make this MOC in 2012, but Stormer's helmet wasn't available in LDD until 2013. - So without further ado, I present... - - * * * * * * * * * * * * * This version of Stormer was supposed to be my idea of what could have come in between Stormer XL (version 4.0) and Brain Attack Stormer (version 5.0). Since I ended up combining parts from every year of Hero Factory, I'm not sure that's an appropriate description anymore. Perhaps "Stormer: Ice Cold Edition" might be a better name. What do you think? - He can freeze targets quickly with either his Tetra Blade or his Cryo Cannon. When a target is cold enough, a hit from either weapon can smash it to bits! So when he yells "FREEZE!" at the villains, he really means it! - * * * * * * * * * * * * * Click any image to enlarge it. - - LXF File - Brickshelf Gallery- Stay cool, - -Toa Of Justice Quote
WARHEAD Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Yeah, really wish we actually had access to those shield parts in a blue color. Quote
Kalhiki Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I've said this before, but this is more or less what I want from Hero Factory. 1.0 designs in the 2.0 build. Great MoC. Love the snowflake pieces on the shoulders. And now I also want those shields in blue. Kalhiki Quote
howie28 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Very nice! I agree that the 1.0 torsos were good. You should render that MOC on LDD2Pov-Ray. (I think that's what it is called). Quote
DraikNova Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Looks pretty awesome. The sword just looks a little too bulky to me. Quote
Toa_Of_Justice Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 (edited) Thanks, everyone! dang, those trans blue parts are sexy I agree. Trans-Medium Blue is one of my all-time favorite LEGO colors along with classic teal. I just wish there were more parts in both of those colors... Yeah, really wish we actually had access to those shield parts in a blue color. Me too! Very nice! I agree that the 1.0 torsos were good. You should render that MOC on LDD2Pov-Ray. (I think that's what it is called). I tried using that software before, but I couldn't get it to work properly on my computer. If anyone wants to try rendering my MOC like that, I'd appreciate it very much. Looks pretty awesome. The sword just looks a little too bulky to me. I see what you mean about the sword. Is this any better? (In this case, it's now a Duo Blade rather than a Tetra Blade.) Click to enlarge: LXF File -Toa Of Justice Edited April 16, 2013 by Toa_Of_Justice Quote
