Been workin on this golden oldie last weekend. Had a lot of thinkwork of how to make the combi between old and new.

Yes I know,I do have the set myself..... :wink:

It would of looked even better with just four big yellow pates and a nice black grill at the back....

Well you know what I am like when it comes to mocs/mods.... :look:

I try to make them as close to the real thing as possible,I try not to skimp on the bodywork.

:laugh: I have to agree tho... this would look better with a bit of covering up :wink: (hide the power functions if anything... :look:

I think the best way to cover up the batox and recivers is to ut it in the one outlined box that is not fully covered behind the cabin and then cover it up, otherwise it looks pretty good, i can't wait for the video to come out!

@ racedees: Your motorized 8862 Harvester is really neat! It blends the best of the old and new Technic systems (studded + studless). If you ever display it at a Lego Users Group (LUG) or Lego convention, many people will be able to "relate" to it since it "looks like Lego" and is fun to drive! :thumbup:
