dviddy Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 *jaw drops* This guy is the BOMB! Most impressive titan ever I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW A BEING WITH HOLES IN HIS TORSO IS COOL. I AM SO CONFUSED. <<DV>>
Optimax X Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 It gives the effect that he has been shot and it battle worn :-P
Kahgarak Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 It gives the effect that he has been shot and it battle worn :-P Besides, what about the holes in the Toa's limbs? And in their weapons?Holes are everywhere in this society! :-P
Optimax X Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Yeah, they disagreed with the barraki so has a wild west shoot out on the island of voya nui..... ...... coming to a cinema screen near you. :-D I dare somebody to post that on BZP- the number of people who have been saying that there is one is incredible
Darkness Falls Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW A BEING WITH HOLES IN HIS TORSO IS COOL. I AM SO CONFUSED.<<DV>> ...He... he doesn't have holes in his Torso. Are we looking at the same thing, here? In any case, those holes are no bigger than any other Titans'.
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 LOL. Most Bionicle sets have swis cheese arms and legs. So you shouldn't complaing. -ZotS
dviddy Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 ...He... he doesn't have holes in his Torso. Are we looking at the same thing, here?In any case, those holes are no bigger than any other Titans'. Good God, man, are you blind? '05's Titans had solid body construction. So did '06's. You couldn't see such horrid gaps in them. Also, connection holes in the arm and leg pieces are to be expected, I'd be upset if they weren't there. Holes in the construction are a completely different story, and 'Master Builders' over at LEGO should know that. <<DV>>
Darkness Falls Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 I find it even more ridiculous that you edited that picture just to show me. ^^ Eh, I don't see a problem with that. At least he looks good doing it. Fill those in, though, and then I'll pass judgment on them. It really doesn't take away from the look.
dviddy Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 It really doesn't take away from the look. Good point. It's hard to take away from 'trashy' and 'lazy'. <<DV>>
Darkness Falls Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Good point. It's hard to take away from 'trashy' and 'lazy'.<<DV>> Yea. Plus, look on the bright side... Spinax doesn't have any!
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Yah thats true. I don't really like Hydraxon anymore. cool design, but the blue pins ruin it. -ZotS
JINZONINGEN73 Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 Good God, man, are you blind? Holes in the construction are a completely different story, and 'Master Builders' over at LEGO should know that. <<DV>> X D Well said. I mean, I like Bionicle and Lego and all, but I've NEVER considered ANY Bionicle set as something that could be described as having been designed / built by a "MASTER Designer". You or I could do better, along with a LOT of others. These are just some parts tossed haphazardly together by the janitor at night after he's done cleaning the toilets. Bionicle Master Designers SUCK, and always have. :-D UGH... that red mask on the big guy... I hate non-symmetrical parts. GREAT, there's a big freaking ARM coming off the side of his face to hold 2 Barraki eyes, and since it's ONE BIG PIECE, I can't remove it. >__< Just another part to toss onto the pile of Kopaka masks, right alongside the tohunga throwing arms and Visorak shells...
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 @Jinzo: Send the red mask to me and I can remove those eye things in such a way that you'll never know they were there.... ... or arent you one for modifying/painting parts? :P
JINZONINGEN73 Posted February 21, 2007 Author Posted February 21, 2007 @Jinzo: Send the red mask to me and I can remove those eye things in such a way that you'll never know they were there.... ... or arent you one for modifying/painting parts? :P "Every time a person cuts a Lego piece, an angel gets it's wings torn off."
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Wow, everyone is hating Maxillos now. I guess I better join the group! (kidding) :-D -ZotS
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 In that case, about 42 angels have lost their wings by now.... ;)
KMOI Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 They're about to lose more, Helden! Not too sure if you guys have seen these, but here are the prelims of the Mahiri: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=227288 Matoro is feelin' like a WOO-MAAHN! ;-)
hewkii9 Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Good God, man, are you blind?'05's Titans had solid body construction. So did '06's. You couldn't see such horrid gaps in them. Or like this. It's amazing how photography can distort new sets for the better...
PSPguy Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 They're about to lose more, Helden! Not too sure if you guys have seen these, but here are the prelims of the Mahiri: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=227288 Matoro is feelin' like a WOO-MAAHN! ;-) Hewkii looks like a predator. Hehe. Greg is losing ideas! Also, why does Hali have wiings? Bionicle Space hint? This has been my rant. XO
Cyclone Titan Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Hewkii looks like a predator. Hehe. Greg is losing ideas! Also, why does Hali have wiings? Bionicle Space hint? This has been my rant. XO Guys, for the last time:Greg writes the storyline, not make the sets!
JINZONINGEN73 Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 Guys, for the last time:Greg writes the storyline, not make the sets! Yah, and if his story ideas are hacked to pieces / edited by the executives as bad as the initial set designs from the sculptors are, then his accountability for the whole mess is even that much less. Hey... you know what'd be cool? If Jaller is tagged along by that crab dude as a seeing eye dog... his sight no longer with him for some reason.
maiq the liar Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I cant see without goggles when i go underwater. Try it (Argonians dont count!) imagine Jaller saying "Ach! my eyes! the goggles do nothing!"
Darkness Falls Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Yah, and if his story ideas are hacked to pieces / edited by the executives as bad as the initial set designs from the sculptors are, then his accountability for the whole mess is even that much less.Hey... you know what'd be cool? If Jaller is tagged along by that crab dude as a seeing eye dog... his sight no longer with him for some reason. Wow... a storyline device that works! Weird. Anywho, I'm sure Jaller can't see in the depths of the water, so that would make hella sense.
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Yah, but how's he going to use that sword of his? Swing it mindlessley? -ZotS
Echo Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Bionicle characters rarely use their melee weapons. He will just shoot fire from it. Speaking of which, how is Jaller going to use his element underwater?
