WARHEAD Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Some kind of rock monster with a horribly unoriginal name. The jaw is articulated. As always, C&C greatly appreciated. Quote
MakutaNocturn Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Your idea about his mouth is quite creative and innovative. But there's something I would like to point out. Many people will agree with me that it should be less proportional because as you said It is made of rock Try making one hand and one leg bigger than the second ones and modificate torso to be less proportional also. It's not hard, trust me And use more Technic pieces. Quote
WARHEAD Posted March 30, 2013 Author Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) And use more Technic pieces. I\ll agree with you on the comment about rock being uneven and I could have included more asymmetry but why should I use more technic pieces? If I can achieve what I want without them, I really don't need to. besides I don't really like the aesthetic of them, all riddled with holes and completely flat. Is it just because you have a certain disdain for HF elements? EDIT I'm sorry if I come off as rude or something but It's just a pet peeve of mine when people refer to hf stuff as "inferior" or whatever and I got that vibe from the comment. MakutaNocturn Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) When you use Technic pieces you can show your creativity That's my opinion. Hero Factory pieces have to many barriers. Just like Galidor but not as much. Edit: During 2006/2007 people were complaining about big parts like Inika torsos, that they stop creativity and they are an obstacle for MOCers. They also said people should use more Technic pieces. It's totally different because people like these big pieces now :D Perhaps I'm too old xd Edited March 30, 2013 by MakutaNocturn Quote
WARHEAD Posted March 30, 2013 Author Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) Perhaps I'm too old xd Nah, I've been following bionicle too since its very beginning but I simply prefer HF parts since they aren't as textured/full of holes as technic/bionicle parts. It's just a matter of taste really. Anyway, I'm sorry for lashing out like that before, didn't mean to offend anyone. Edited March 30, 2013 by WARHEAD Quote
DraikNova Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Very creative. Kind of looks like Bruizer and Ogrum rolled into one. Quote
