winnerMJ Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Hello, just another new Tower of Isengard/Orthanc Project with IdS User RC 1136 and me: Full Tower: LDD (Original): We hope you like it.... ENJOY! Quote
Niku Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 This is a nice cooperative work congrats to both, beyond been just one color it can be spotted lot of details and attractive shapes. Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Looks good but I agree it could do with a few highlights to bring out those great details. Possibly a little higher? Overall though very nice, i can imagine some ents wading about its base. Quote
Mr_Malfoy Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Great MOC! I the amount of details you put in despite the single color. Quote
Evil Porkchop Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Amazing, and as the others have said the ammount of detail achieved while being monochromatic is inspiring. Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Take a photo with light glaring on the tower. That should get your details to pop out. Quote
KyleJohnson11 Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Great build! Looks like you captured the overall shape in bricks! Quote
Flieger Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 The Orthanc, yes!! Many thanks. But could you take better pics please? Quote
Bytor Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 This is great! I disagree with users who say it needs accents with other colours, it's supposed to be all black. It looks so menacing! Did you design it your self? Did you use the version in the Lego LOTR game as a reference at all? (that's been my plan for a summer project, when i have some cash) Very well done! Quote
Deathleech Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 I dunno if accents are needed or not. Some better pictures with some light on the tower like Captain BeerBeard points out should definitely help us see the details. As is it's hard to make much out because of the dimmer lighting and everything being black. I can't wait to see them, it looks very nice from what I can see! Quote
