Hi EB! I'm going on a vacation to celebrate my graduation this summer, and in early June I'll be in Denmark with access to Billund. Unfortunately the timing and finances don't work out for me to go on the Inside Tour, so I was wondering what other activities I might engage in.

Obviously Legoland Billund is a good bet, but I was wondering whether the community here has any other suggestions for less obvious experiences.

Thanks for any suggestions you might have!

Hi! Do you mean actually visiting LEGOs main offices? If so I don't know if you can go in and talk to people see design rooms and the factory. This is what LEGO.com says:

The following are typical visitor categories at the LEGO Group in Billund:

- Students in university/higher-education programmes

- School classes, age 8 – 16 years

- LEGO fan groups

- Business partners

You could email/ring and ask. Enjoy your holiday!

Hello there Tereglith! I might be able to help... well, maybe just a little bit! I'm currently living in Denmark, proud land of the brick!, and I have to say there's a lot of wonderful places to see besides the Company! If you really want a LEGO experience then it'll probably be best to go to LEGOLAND. As for LEGO activities outside the Company, I'm afraid there's not too much. Billund is a small, but nice, place and it's close to the park so I would honestly venture out and see it. I wouldn't call it an "all-day experience" since of how small it is but you'll find interesting things here and there that relate to the history of the Company. Also close by is a indoor water park called Lalandia. It's a pretty nice place and I went there swimming before. I enjoyed the slides they have too! You'll get a ton of pictures of it if you type it in google. Vejle, a city nearby Billund, about a 45 minute bus drive, is also a nice place to venture through. You have options but I'm afraid I can't really say all of them are going to be LEGO related. Sorry about that. The biggest one I could think of would be LEGO World that's held in Copenhagen but it's already over. That's the best I got for now, I hope that's a little something that you can use.

Best of luck on your trip :sweet:
