Hi everyone! I actually signed up on here a couple months ago but so far haven't been on the site too much and have only made a couple posts, but anyways I just realized I never posted here to introduce myself!

I've recently started up building Lego again as my hobby in the last couple months. I had been planning on it for a while but had to wait till I could buy my house so I would have room to work with this hobby (Buy house. Check!). So far I'm only working off the Lego that I had as a kid which is one and a half of those big tubs that you might use for christmas decorations. I'm finding that it is not nearly enough for what I want to do though!

I had been looking for a hobby that would get me off the computer, and I enjoy creating things (I play SimCity a lot) so I thought Lego would be a great fit since I still have mine!

I was always very detailed when I built with Lego as a kid. I enjoy camping a lot and so when I was a kid I had (several times) built a Pickup truck with a 5th wheel camper complete with slideouts! Now I can get this creativity out and put a whole new level of detail into my creations!

I at first had these high hopes of building a big Lego town and then make videos and stuff of the town but got a bit discouraged once I realized just how much would actually be needed for that. But then I realized that I can make just as interesting things by doing small scenes.

I set up a website where I'll be posting my Lego creations/photos/comics (and general nature photography) at http://www.bluecaret.com

Anyways, sorry if that got a bit long! I'm very glad this site is here, seems like a great community and a great resource, you've already helped me lots!
