Disco86 Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I always wanted to build a waterfall, and so the idea came up to build this MOC. Also I had some new ideas and inspirations for new building techniques that I wanted to use. And after two month I finished it. It is scene from the book "The Hobbit", when Bilbo, Gandalf and the dwarves arrive at Elronds house: Rivendell I hope you like my creation, I would appreciate if you leave a comment or visit my flickr photostream Quote
CMP Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Absolutely fantastic. That waterfall is just gorgeous, as are those vines creeping over the edge of the cliff. The building itself looks great, too, I love how you've varied the wall structure and the roof. Quote
kbcakir Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 building is so sharp cornered but in general it looks great Quote
Mr_Malfoy Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Great MOC! It's so beautiful - the waterfall, the building - everything! Quote
SteampunkDoc Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Whoa.... That is amazing! The colors, the waterfall, the sweet bridge/path, the great foliage, and the fantastic Elvish architecture. While the building may not be that accurate to the film, it's a great representation to what somebody could image the book version to be like. The brick work/design scheme inside the building is very well done, and incredibly sweet. And I can't find anything that I don't like about it, it's just that good. Overall, it's brilliant. No doubt about it. Quote
Str0ngbad Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Beautiful MOC. The cliff and waterfall are stunning and I love the colors you chose for the interior. Thanks a lot for sharing it with us! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Stunning build, the waterfall and vines are my favorite sections What piece do you use as the vines? Great colors used on the buildings Quote
Disco86 Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 Thanks for your comments ! It is good to hear, that you like my free interpretation of the building. @Soccerkid: The part I used for the vines is the hose nozzle simple with 13L string Quote
