Solscud007 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 (edited) Found this at my local Walmart. I bought it just for War Machine. Front of box. I am not sure who Aldrich Killian is. Side. Back Contents Bag one contents. Bag one built. Bag two contents. Left over parts. Mini Figs. War Machine Iron Man Mark 42 Oh and his head glows in the dark. My set was missing the sticker sheet. I used some of the parts from the buoy and left over red crystal parts and added them to War Machine. I also added the cone missle and fire. Edited March 17, 2013 by Solscud007 Quote
Ceroknight Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Thank you for the pictures! This set really is a steal, with great minifigures, and a decent looking boat for $25 Quote
SteampunkDoc Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Thanks! To me, this set's only draw is the mini-figures, and that's not quite enough for me to plunk down $20. I've never been a fan of Lego boats, so 70% of this set doesn't appeal to me. Although, no matter my opinion, this set is obviously a great deal for Superhero collectors. Like Ceroknight said above, this is a steal. Lego seems to be doing a great job at getting nice Superhero sets in the $20-$30 range, and this is no exception. Thank you Solscud007 for the review! I know it's nothing more than pictures, but it's very helpful never the less. The mini-figures are fantastic, and I can't help liking each of these guys more and more the more I see them. Maybe, just maybe, if this goes on sale.... (Ya'll should know by now that I love sales. ) Quote
Solscud007 Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 Yeah I'm not a fan of boats either. I just wanted the mini figs. Quote
BrickG Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 The Iron Man and War Machine are cool. Everything else is useless. A random green boat with no meaning or iconic status and another generic minion that can't fit anything else (I'd compare him to those Captain American minions). Quote

Aldrich Killian isn't a generic minion, he one of the main villians and creator of the Extremis virus, the soilder is a generic minion though. Quote
BrickG Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 He's generic enough like the main villains in 1 and 2 :P. Quote
Kez Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Great pics, thanks. Seemingly as your set is missing the sticker sheet means that I could be in with a chance of getting a spare sticker sheet (I got a spare sticker sheet In the batcave superheroes set and I also got a spare one in the bat vs bane superheroes set) Quote
Esurient Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 IRON MAN  WAR MACHINE  And nice pictures! Didn't expect a glow in the dark head. Nevertheless I am happy with that! Quote
TheLegoDr Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Thanks for posting a pictorial review. I was going to get this set anyway, mostly for the two Heroes. I don't care about these villains, probably because I don't know much about them. But this IM variant and War Machine are awesome! The boat I heard was actually pretty decent since the flick fire missiles aren't flicked at all. There is an actual mechanism to shoot them. Quote
DrasticPlastic Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 2 great figures (war machine!) and a pretty nifty boat - ace! These superhero sets have realised people just want the figures and are giving them away at pretty good prices, not bad stuff Quote
