The Executive Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Ever since the new fire station came out I was wondering if TLC was gonna make a new police station in the near future. I hope if they do make a new police station that it would have a retro style building like the Central Precinct HQ with the jail being inside the building with the old windows.I would also hope for new handcuffs and some light blue uniforms, and maybe a few of the new guns for the officers and the crooks. If anyone has more ideas or better ideas please feel free to post them. ChrisF2006 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 hinckley, I like your station. Looks like a real NYPD precinct. However, its a tad small for use as a main HQ for I have a very large police force but I suppose it could be used as a district level station or for a specialized unit. Im a tad fanatical about organization for everything in my life and thus my Lego police forces, fire/rescue departments, etc must be perfectly organized. I actually have seperate police, sheriff and highway patrol forces. Police wear the usual uniforms used by Lego, sheriffs department has customized uniforms (the usual black but i paint a tiny sheriff star on them instead of the police badge and they wear gray cowboy hats keeping in line with the traditional NY sheriff uniform) and highway patrol troopers wear gray repainted uniforms with gray cowboy hats keeping in line with the New York State Police. I havent really been able to work with my Legos lately due to school but I still try to every now and then. Quote

I actually built it as a set that I sold on eBay, combining a couple sets I had bought at auction that didn't come in the way they were listed. I agree that if I built one for my town it would be bigger. Perhaps I'll do that... Thanks for the compliments on my set, guys! I appreciate it. BTW, selling custom sets on eBay is not as lucrative as it sounds... Quote
