moctown Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Hi Everybody! About 3 weeks ago I finished another mini modular model, which is equally my 1st moc I've done this year. I call it "Basilika" and finally today I find time, to post it on EB! Here are two pictures: Feel free to leave your comments and find more pictures as usual on my flickr photostream (http://www.flickr.com/photos/moctown/). Have a nice weekend everybody! So long, Jens Quote
gazumpty Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Thats a beautiful piece of architecture there moctown. I love the use of the lightsaber handles as columns in your towers! Quote
cortman Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 That is awesome- I was just about to ask what you used for the pillars. They look amazing! Super realistic. Quote
Bregir Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 I must say, I am blown away! So many nice details! I love the use of the statuette, the lightsabers and the cross :D Quote
Gooker1 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 That's super impressive! Love the blues!! Would love to see it connected to the other mini modulars Lego made. :) Quote
cortman Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Also nice (and suitable) mixing of old and new gray to get a variating effect. Quote
kinggregus Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 jens, this is such a great build. You made such a great use of the technic bricks. So many great techniques in this mini-modular. Quote
Denes Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Its amazing! Specialy the lightsaber, and the technic-column at the window. Quote
Redhead1982 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Great work! The stone work is nicely detailed for a minisized MOC. The dark blue roof is the center of the MOC, and it looks great. Well done. Quote
pillpod Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Fantastic. I love the columns at the top. Do you have a piece count? Quote
L@go Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 You are incredibly good at building in this scale. Those towers...! Quote
moctown Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 It's a pleasure - thank you so much everybody for your kind words! Fantastic. I love the columns at the top. Do you have a piece count? Round about 330 pieces! Thx & so long, Jens Quote

Another Brick In The Wall Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Great work, Is the design based on Byzantine Orthodox church? Quote
kibosh Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Very nice. I like how "big" this model photographs. it seems like a MUCH larger structure than it really is. Quote
moctown Posted March 14, 2013 Author Posted March 14, 2013 Thank you guys! Great work, Is the design based on Byzantine Orthodox church? Maybe yes, but not intended. Thx & so long, Jens Quote
II5hyena Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 This is cool. I like the building and I also like this particular style of architecture. Quote
