Scouty Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 I feel tired. Anyway, I did a science project for PJAS, which is the Pennsylvania Junior Accademy of Science. Boy, did I work....and work......and work...... and now it's over :-) , the awards ceremony is done and I can relax!!! Anyway, my project was: Nerve Scaffold prosities on nerve regeneration. I'm going to provide the presentation in a bit as I'm really tired now!!!!! I was happy to find that I got a first place out of thirty other people who did, and I got a Special Award from a company called MedRad and received 150$ into a savings account. Yay! I'll get pictures and a Power Point presentation up soon as I feel uber duper tired!!!! EDIT: Slides!!! I'll explain them later. Names and a place was blued out for privacy purposes. Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 You take as long as you want, you probally feel as tired as I do at 7:00 in the morning 2v2 in 32 degree weather for soccer training! |-/ well... maybe not ezxactley the same :-D ! Quote
Scouty Posted February 3, 2007 Author Posted February 3, 2007 Hehee. I walked around the school the place was held at for like what? Two hours? I was mad with bordness! I think I know pretty much many of the nook n' crannys in that school! Quote
Asuka Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 A first place? *y* Congratulations for your good project! Damaged and/or demyelinated nerves and nerve scaffolding .... Sounds very useful and interesting. Quote
oo7 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Congratulations, mate! That's a good display you have there. At first I thought "Whoa, that's one long picture!" :-D I'll explain them later. Names and a place was blued out for privacy purposes. Then you might want to blue something else out too......... (It's not in this thread) Anyways, great work! $150! Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted February 4, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted February 4, 2007 Congrats with your first place! Presentation looks good, but I'm no expert on Nerves 8-| Hope you buy some nice Lego with the $150. Quote
Scouty Posted February 5, 2007 Author Posted February 5, 2007 I blued out stuff not mentioned already here. Like the city I live in. Generally, the first place is out of some 50 people. Maybe a bit more. Unfortunately, the 150$ is in a savings account, I'll have to check that later. Quote
