I'v been working the suspension I want to use in my next MOCs, however i'v never worked with this type of suspension before. I'v been doing as much reading, watching videos and looking at pictures to learn as much as I can. I'v only used the basic suspension like in the 8466 Off Roader before.

The features I'm after are...

Independent suspension

All wheel drive

Steering

Caster Angle

Kingpin Inclination

I'v got a rough prototype design done, however I don't own the following part to try and build it myself to see if it works.

I'm not keen on waiting weeks for a small bricklink order to arrive before continuing with the design. So I'm hoping someone can look at the LDD file and/or build it as see how it goes, and tell me what i'v got wrong. I know the frame isn't there right now, as i'm just wanting to make sure this will work before I put time in on a frame I might have to change.

I'v based this a fair bit off some ideas on Sheepo's website, which is a great resource for ideas.

Thanks

i dont think that this will work in real, because the whole lod is hold by a one stud long crossaxle fitting. in my opinion there it is a high risk to damage the four studs long perpendicular connector.

edit: i have made a little change in your file to make it more stable and better working

Thanks, didn't look at the strength of it yet. So you think all the work points / movements points are in the correct locations.

From what I understand it is all good for the Kingpin Inclination...

Is that CV joint in there in the correct / working locations?

with the sliding axle of the driveshaft the position shold not be a problem. but to be sure make the driveshaft one stud longer. by the way you should make a better support for the differential. with you current design it will jump over very easy under load
