nerowCZ Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Poor villager who saw what he shouldn't. The mystical minotaur. And paid for it with his own life. Let his soul rest in peace. Execution in the Middle of Nowhere by nerowCZ, on Flickr Quote
Bighappysmiles Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Gasp! Poor villager! I like this! Its cool! I don't really know where its set though.......Desert? Snow lands?? Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I love all the transparent studs! Quote
Deathleech Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 I think it's snow because it looks like a pine tree with white horns (snow) in it. I agree though, the ground studs kind of look more like sand than snow. Maybe use some solid white ones if it is in fact a snow landscape? Otherwise, cool lil set! Quote
nerowCZ Posted February 23, 2013 Author Posted February 23, 2013 Desert? Snow lands?? It is snow land. Built using white plates a trans-clear plates on it. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Neat little build. I agree, it can be confusing, although my first assumption was snow. But it is odd how a trans clear plate over a white plate will look sandy. I suppose this would look more like ice crystals. I do agree throwing in some more white plates to help clarify that may help, but keep some of the trans clear plates to give that frozen look. I'm sure the minotaur's fur will keep him warm, but I hope that villager is/was warm. Quote
Deathleech Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 If you are trying to make it look like ice, maybe do blue tiles under the clear ones? If it's just snow why not use normal white plates without the clear ones on top? Quote
Captain Settle Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Wow I like the tree with horns to look like snow. Quote
vestige81 Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I really like the tree. I had not seen one made from the flower parts before. Quote
Mutant Orc Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 I love Minotaurs, I love Minotaurs, I love Minotaurs, I love Minotaurs... Quote
Ragnar_Deerslayer Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 The skeleton lying casually to the side implies a history of executions. The skeleton, chopping block, tree, and - is that a battle standard of some kind behind the minotaur? A totem? Anyway, the sparseness of the scene and the empty space really does highligh the "nowhere." Quote
