Dazmundo Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 I have been searching the internet to try to find a silhouette of a minifig, something like this But I am sure you will agree, that is just not quite right My idea is to produce something like this Any ideas where I could find one? Many Thanks D Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 How about this one: http://a1998.phobos.apple.com/us/r1000/036/Purple/0e/62/41/mzl.snowfgtj.320x480-75.jpg Quote
Dazmundo Posted February 21, 2013 Author Posted February 21, 2013 (edited) Thanks Lordofdragonss but I was hoping for something with smoother lines D Edited February 21, 2013 by Dazmundo Quote
AndyC Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Should be reasonably easy to do with something like LDD or LDraw I'd have thought, create a model of the minifig you'd like with the camera facing dead on and put it against a mono background. Then just remove anything not the background colour in your favourite image editing app and hey presto one minifig silhouette. Quote
TanTile Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) here you go. Edited February 22, 2013 by TanTile Quote
Dazmundo Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 Thank you TanTile that is just what I was looking for. You are a true Brick! D Quote
legolijntje Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I don't want to say that TanTile's silhouette is bad, but I didn't liked the rough lines it has, so I made my own version (which isn't perfect either, it's not really from the front, but a slight angle). You can download the 2658x4168 px .png file here What do you want to do with it? The example link isn't working? Just curious... Quote
Dazmundo Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) Thankyou for the smoother version legolijntje. I want to make like a family lineup picture, inspired by this http://www.notontheh...duct/the-family D Edited February 22, 2013 by Dazmundo Quote
Dazmundo Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 OK so I have made some progress with this today, what do people think? The minifigs are all in the correct proportion to our actual heights (well I measured one of my boys and I'm pretending the other is the same height) I want to print it in a colour other than black but I'm not sure what yet. DutchTreat Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Was looking for something the same and found this: http://personallydifferent.com/family-symbols.php Quote
