jeffrey Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I am just hopping that there will be a big unofficial EXO-FORCE site which attracts many exoforce fans to discuss everything about EXO-force. Now I just go to bzpower's lego official forum and here 8-| Quote

EXO-CHAMP Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 www.exo-force.net is an unofficial E-F web-site with news and finds. It has no forum but links to EB. Quote

Believe it or not, that link to eurobricks from Exo-Force.net is how I found eurobricks in the firstplace. You guys, I say all of us Space and Mecha fans should join Darth Bionic's forum. :-) I think it looks like a good forum, but it needs a lot more members. I am going to join as well. Quote

Kikuichimonji Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Will there be a forum the size of BZP? The answer is no, the reason is simple: Exo-Force doesn't have the lifespan that Bionicle has. Bionicle has been going strong for what, 8 years now? Exo Force may run 1 or 2 more years at its longest, then it'll die out. And the one reason why BZP is so large is because there still is plenty do discuss (i.e. new sets). And besides, I find myself just incapable of visiting too much forums. I basically visit EB, then ocassionally CSF and Lowlug, a dutch forum. I just don't have time for more, especially not one which goes into details about a single theme. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem. Quote
SuvieD Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 No your notalone in that thought. Remember though that younger members have ample amounts of free time thanks to anti child labor laws. Stupid laws. ;-) :-P Exo force is very shallow in comparison to what bionicle has become. It will never be as big unless LEGO revamps it to be very Gundam and releases more characters and enemies. Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Thats why. However, they could make a small forum like BZP. -ZotS Quote

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem. I doubt that EXO-Force will die out, since this theme is popular after Bionicle and Starwars. And the story can also be expanded too ( ancient exo-force team, downhill or other "invisible" city, or even new human ememies) Hard to say Human can win this battle... may be bad ending of Exo-force story :'-( Quote
Cyclone Titan Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Guys you should all join The Robots Workshop its a great E-F forum. Quote
exo attack Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 the EXFN and robots workshop are probably the best. Quote
dillthepill Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 I third that. We especially need members at the robots' workshop. Quote
Chuck Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 I doubt that EXO-Force will die out, since this theme is popular after Bionicle and Starwars. And the story can also be expanded too ( ancient exo-force team, downhill or other "invisible" city, or even new human ememies)Hard to say Human can win this battle... may be bad ending of Exo-force story :'-( It's third most popular in sales, probably. but not everybody who buys it is a member of a forum. The reason BZP is the most popular Lego forum is because, as mentioned before, it has been going on for about 7 years, and has a lot of storyline potential. EF location is already giving it a limited storyline potential. Another reason BZP is so popular is that it has Greg, and it was made by adults who know computer programming and make the site visually appealing. So the answer is probably not. -l2k- Quote
jeffrey Posted February 5, 2007 Author Posted February 5, 2007 (edited) But Bzpower(or say, BZ community) appears in 2002 as I remember, which is only 1 year after the line is introduced. But for GregF part, it is true as everyone treated him as Dr. Bionicle :-D He also responsible for EF story, why don't we ask him about EF in bzpower :-D X-D ? Edit: Post edited, and other off-topic posts deleted to keep the flow of the thread :-) Edited February 5, 2007 by Starwars4J Quote

Mechs are nice, but trust me, they'll get boring after a while. Although the same does apply to Bionicle in a way, but at least there's still some new designs every now and then. Quote
xenologer Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Hard to say Human can win this battle... may be bad ending of Exo-force story :'-( Actually, I don't think they should win. I'm rooting for the Robots. Consider, if you put aside the comicbook story and the individual human characters(as nice as I'm sure they are); and look at the background situation: At some point Robots were in widespread use by humans as manual laborers, notably working in mines and other dangerous occupations. The future human society is entirely dependant on Robot workers. But these Robots are intelligent beings (or at least mecha1 was, perhaps he's some kind of supervisor bot), and after a point realize that humans are exploiting them. There is a Robot rebellion, turning their mining machines into weapons to fight back against the human Slavers. (early robot mechas tend to feature drills and other digging tools in the concept arts, later mechines are designed from scratch soley for combat) After a point the Robots begin to win their battles and outnumber the humans; this is the point where humans are treated as the 'good guys' because everyone likes the underdog. (this is where the official comic stories start out) Well I guess my point is that the 'good guys vs bad guys' situation isn't so clear cut... I wish they would show some storylines from when it all started when the Robots were the one's with the disandvantages... Quote
Fed Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Hard to say Human can win this battle... may be bad ending of Exo-force story :'-( SPOILER: NEON GENESIS EVANGELION If LEGO actually did an Evangelion-like ending for Exo-Force, that would be totally cool with me. Man's last stand and they all die... :-D Quote
