 Thank you! Can't wait for the instructions! I always want to build this awesome Porsche, but the lack of my skills prevents it.

Damn that red 5x11 panel! bricklink price on those are going to jump even higher now.

You could always build it in black. Those panels are easier to come by.

Yeah, but then you need what looks like Five 19L black flex axles. At least the red panels are obtainable. A guy in Germany has a ton of red panels for about 5 bucks.

Then you need black 19L flex axles  It is a excellent model though, and I will likely be buying it once I budget for the parts best I can :classic:

I think it looks better in Red anyways. It especially looks nicer in the front because it defines the black areas better.

First off, now this one's my favorite Crowkiller model :classic:

I'm also smacking myself (for the n'th time!) for not stocking up on red 5x11s. And yes I'm the 3rd quick post regarding the black 19L flex axle!!!

The Bricklink sellers are not crazy, it's always work like a normal economy. they now when Paul makes a new model and the ask for parts get higher and the prices olso.

I have seen it when i order mine parts for mine new moc the RPA 15 and dark blue whas no ask for it and did't pay a high price for it, Now there is one seller and have only liftarm 1x3 in dark blue and ask two weeks ago 6 cents for a new one and now he ask 24 cents in the hope that i need more parts.

And Paul your Porsche 997 is STUNNING

I agree that it is probably the best looking real car that he has done, but as far as functions and originality go, the Vamp GT is going to be tough for him to top.

 I remember when he did that Yellow Murcielago, the price of the #4 connectors jumped up to $10 each in some stores.

Great point and I agree....Vamp GT will always be the top (Paul--keep trying to better that creation! )

And the yellow 5x11s on our 42009 brings major hope for red returning...sometime.

It would appear that Paul Boratko is going to make the Building Instructions available soon. What is posted on his Crowkillers homepage now is a red version of his black Porsche 997 GT3 model, which has these features:

  • 6 speed transmission
  • "Hand of God" steering system with functional Dash Steering Wheel
  • Flat 6 Rear mounted Engine
  • Full Independent Suspension
  • Opening Hood, Doors and Trunk

Paul, do you have any target date for the release of these? I assume that you are collaborating with Eric?

Yes, Paul and I are working on this project together. I have only just started so it will be a while before the instructions are available.

I am trying to optimize the model as I rebuild it and send the build process to Eric.. I am also going to personally test out the beta instructions this time to make sure that there are no critical errors and everything is as easy to follow as possible..
