Gatanui Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 With Lego putting such a tight lid on pictures, I'm guessing we'll only see them at Toy Fair next year. They were in the retailer catalogue. I see no reason they shouldn't be featured in the consumer catalogue. Spring releases have always been featured there as it shows all sets from January to June. -Gata Quote
DraikNova Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Were they? I thought the Chima constraction sets weren´t. Quote
Gatanui Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 We never got any pics, but they were mentioned by someone who got the chance to take a look at the catalogue. -Gata Quote
ZORK64 Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Well I'll start crossing fingers that pictures show up soon. By the way, I just recently realized that LoC would be the first original constraction figure line which wouldn't feature robots. Quote

DraikNova Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 And hopefully we´ll get some information about the Brain Attack storyline too. Apart from the few details we´ve got, we know next too nothing about it. Quote

And I don't even own anything from Galidor. But Knight's Kingdom actually slipped my mind, despite owning the King Jayko set. Oh the irony. But actually, yeah... well it would be the first one with ball joints and a more Technic-oriented approach. On a sidenote, I think that the aesthethic of HF don't go that well with human characters anyway, but the animal knight thing could kinda work. Quote
DraikNova Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 That thing we saw seemed more like a Chi-created apparition than an actual creature to me. Quote
Front Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 I am not sure what all the fuss is about, it was just a picture of a lions dream. Quote
GeluNumber1 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Front, why must you destroy our dreams? Well, now we'll just have to get back on track: discussing 2013's Hero Factory. Quote
Aethersprite Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I am not sure what all the fuss is about, it was just a picture of a lions dream. Well, in the Chima thread, Aanchir found a source confirming the presence of constraction sets... I guess we'll see! Quote
Bfahome Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I am not sure what all the fuss is about, it was just a picture of a lions dream. >dream CHIMA SETS CONFIRMED FOR SENTIENT But seriously. Waspix heads. Please. Quote
Cirkit Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I found myself wondering the other day if the new heads would be just square-shaped with axles all over. I hope it's not. I mean, yes, simpler can be better, but I do want the head piece to look like a head even without the helmet. Do you know what I'm saying? I wonder if the helmet visors (on the HF characters) clip on to the helmet when down, so they don't flop all over the place if the head is moved.. that would seem like a good idea. Quote
DraikNova Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I think the head piece will probably sacrifice a lot of appearance for the sake of function. Quote
Cirkit Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 What a shame. But, if it means we get more function out of it, then I can be happy with the new head. I've been trying to figure out how Furno's trans-orange cladding connects to the torso. I don't think it's just on a bone hanging there to cover the gap; I think the cladding is connected via the new grey 3 hole ball part found on Stormer XL, and that's connected off the torso somehow. It sounds confusing when I try to put it in words. :/ The more I look at Breez, the more I like her new form. Now that I know the bow isn't a bow, I'm much happier. The small cladding on the lower legs bugs me, but at least the bone is covered. The helmet looks great, and it's always nice to have another buzz-saw in the collection.. I still need to pick up an XT4.. Quote
DraikNova Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 So the armor is connected via Stormer´s add-on piece? And I´m glad there´s another buzz-saw in HF because I need to customize my XT4. Quote
Cirkit Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 It's just an assumption.. I don't know if that's the case, but I hope it is. I don't want to have a short bone piece hanging there just to cover a gap, it would move around too much when posing. You're going to go double-buzz-saw on XT4? Nice. Quote
DraikNova Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Actually, I gave him ten twelve arms, just for the heck of it. Quote
Cirkit Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Twelve arms? That doesn't seem excessive at all I'm kidding, that sounds awesome. I had a thought that maybe, just maybe, if the "Brain Attack" wave continues in summer, then I think there will either be a massive XL Brain villain like DraikNova and I have posted about previously, or (if paired with Stormer) a snow-or-ice-themed monster. I've just built a snowman creation, uses a lot of the Stormer XL parts, it wasn't too difficult, and I think one could be made as a medium-sized set rather easily if one wanted. Just another thought. Oh, and I anticipate the arrival of the new heads when the Brain Attack wave hits the shelves. Can't wait. Quote
Zachattacx Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 You know that could work judging by we already got The Devil,A Troll/Ogre,Itsy Bitsy Spider, and a Rock Monster...so why not invite Frosty. Me too,I really hope these heads are very compatible with the masks or helmets of previous lines. Quote
DraikNova Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Now we just need three mice with a Rotor-esque head... Quote
Zachattacx Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Interesting news on this webpage http://www.exoforce.ru/serii-lego/lego-hero-factory?limit=100(Look up on the 2013 sets) Apparently Pyrox is not a devil, but a "fiery Minotaur".(Interesting if you ask me) Bruizer is a "stone giant wild animal with wild eyes".(Basically Rock Monster) Scarox is a giant mutated spider that"Controls Spiders led by himself". Ogrum is a "half animal mutant". and it states that aliens are or/is causing this "Brain Attack". Quote
Sid Sidious Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 I like Furno's "flaming sword of fire". It also says that models combine using instructions found on the brain alien things, so it looks like a code to unlock bonus instructions. Quote
