lockdownTF Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I have some really old large formula one wheels and I was wonder if someone can tell me a good method for getting rid of the transfers or maybe some rubber friendly paint that'd cover them up without chipping every few minutes Quote
DLuders Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Why would you want to remove the decals? Those special-lettered Lego tires (such as the "Michelin" one below) are quite valuable as-is. If you tried to remove the transfer, you may damage the underlying rubber. Quote
z3_2drive Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 yeah I'd love to have those tires and wheels!, if you hate them, many people would be willing to buy... Quote
jadedomg Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Plastidip should cover the wheel, it wont bend or crack or damage the rubber/decal if you chose to take it off at a later point. Quote
