Marins Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Hello. I got an old battery box with battery leaked, so I disassembled it and clean the metal. Now the problem, it works but not the way it should. Right button pressed - work, no button pressed - also work, left button turns it off :( Does someone here every took apart one of this and can help me put it back together ? http://images40.fotosik.pl/1939/18666e1a71b8c763gen.jpg Quote
DLuders Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) @ Marins: Welcome to Eurobricks! I'm trying to figure out (from your picture below) which Lego Battery Box you own. Can you look at this 4-page Bricklink list and tell us which one you have? It looks like you MAY have the 5115 9V Battery Box, but I'm not sure.... Edited February 7, 2013 by DLuders Quote
Paul202 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Yeah, do you have a pic of it before you took if apart? Quote
Marins Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) Sorry, I thought it`s visible, my mistake :/ It is the 5115 9V box, I can`t figure out the correct positions of the metal lamina's and it doesn`t work properly. I was hoping someone took it apart before and knows how to assemble it back. Edited February 8, 2013 by Marins Quote
bobsir Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Long time lurker first time poster here. I've been meaning to ask a similar question, my old 9v battery boxes have battery leakage and 9v motor has completely rusted over the contacts, is there an easy way to get rid of the corrosion? I may or may not have put them in water in the 90s as a child... (I've managed to lose almost all the parts for my air tech claw rig since then -.-) Quote
