So, series rundown:

Episode 1: The Crash and the roadworks. Interesting thing actually. I was listening to local radio the other week, and the DJ referenced Top Gear when talking about endless traffic problems involving an endless set of roadworks. Anyway, The Crash was riveting, and the roadworks were pretty funny. And successful for once.

Episode 2: Veyron and the coupes. Not quite as funny as the previous week, but the Veyron looks like a Batmobile, and I now really want to drive a golf buggy.

Episode 3: America. Need I say more?

Episode 4: The rocket. Cool idea, pity it didn't work.

Episode 5: The tractors and Kristen Scott Thomas. Funny when they were teasing Clarkson about Kristen. Funny because its just the sort of thing that school kids do. The tractor choices were so typical of their personalities, and it was good to see cameos from previous challenge entries.

Episode 6: The limos and Billie Piper. The limos were great. The Panda was so funny, and looked 'great' taped together. Lemar stormed off, the steering wheel broke, the presenters got wet, I could go on. And Billie Piper 8-

Yeah- i thought that the caravan one was really funny, just started out as i pan fire and turned into a van fire!

My favorite one of all time would be probably the darts with cars, car football and multipeople carrier racing.

Well technically he did not win, cos his clutch broke and could not get out of the water.

It was funny when Hammond's sank though. My favorite quote ever was from this series though

James- "It was a new car and i did not know what all the nobs did"

Richard- "What do you mean? There is only 2, well 3, if you count the one that bought it" Everyone was laughing and i nearly fell of the sofa.

I loved that! If I can think of any more, I'll post them.

We should get a few more 'best of' shows in the interim between series, if last year was anything to go by.

The Team :-D

And, I've just found this. Did you notice the Billy-Bob on the end credits? Every name.

Yeah- apart from the 3 presenters, richard's that i can remeber most was Dale Jr Hammond. They did a similsr thing for the winter olympics one, they all ended in bjorne or benny because they were in ABBA country.

I only watched top gear 1 or 2 times, and I think it is quite good. I watched tonight's episode, and personally, I think the limo was pretty weak. you could se the glass wobbling when the paintball hit it, I am suprised it didn't smash!

I was just looking through the production notes on the website, and remembered about the Veyron vs light aircraft episode. Oh, May's endless pre-flight checks.

I know- and when they were finnaly in the air- Hammond started reading a book about plane crashes!

ET- it was funny wehn they started shooting at each other!

'Top Gear of the Pops' tonight for Comic Relief. Should be good. 10pm for anyone who doesn't know. The Top Gear trio take over the reins of TOTP. I sit here with a sense that things will go wrong. :-D

10- tonight?! I'm going out for an italian! Hope i'm back before then though.

Just got the most recent TG mag- should provide some more intresting reading.

Clarkson's name for the rapper at the beginning (which I can't honestly share) was hilarious.

"Its like talking to my dad." :-D

May clearly had no idea what he was talking about, Clarkson dropped his sticks, and McFly's song:

"Jeremy's an antique/ the Hamster just squeaks/ and May is a geek." :-D

It made a nice change to cars anyway, being the novelty that it was. And it was all for a good cause. We mustn't forget that.

Mcfly's song was pretty funny, they should realise it propaly, i bet quite afew people would get it. Unfortanatly i missed the start, but it seems like it was really funny.

The start (as I recall) was simply

"Sofaaaaaah, Hayundaaaaaaaii, Administrashuuuunn"

Yep, great song.

Other best bit of Comic Relief was Tony Blair doing "Am I Bovverud"? :-D

Yeah, I enjoyed that too. I think everyone was expecting it to be a bit rubbish and just a 'popularity booster,' but it actually turned out good.

The David Tennant sketch was good too, and the Peter Kay/Matt Lucas song was funny.

I love Top Gear!!!

I think my favourite movie was the one when James May was in the co-drivers seat with Ken Block and then they raced with RICKY CARMICHAEL!!!

That was cool!

But every episode is at least good, if not great and excellant at most times.

Mine has to be the drive in the converted limousines. Quality TV, or when they converted that car into a space shuttle.
