Zuntir Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Hello! These are my first MOCs after almost two year break. They're not any real cars, just based on models from 1930s. Hope you like it! Please comment. Few more pictures here: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=521546 Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I'm a sucker for vintage inspired cars. I built my first car MOC for the winter village contest. I haven't seen too many other older style cars in LEGO form, so these are a welcome sight. I really like the ideas used here. Typically I prefer a glass windscreen, but I like the idea with the droid arms in the first car. I may have to borrow some of these ideas sometime. My city needs more vintage cars, that's for sure. lightningtiger Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Very nice classic 20's sedan and 30's roadster, though the nose reminds mine of a WWII Jeep. Excellent work 'Zuntir' and Brick On Drive On ! Quote

Actually no windscreen piece that i own fitted here, hence the droid arms. Very nice classic 20's sedan and 30's roadster, though the nose reminds mine of a WWII Jeep. I know but i had no idea how to do it differently. Quote
THEBIGYINN Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Cool cars, a little more work and they could be even better. Quote
ER0L Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Very nice vintage cars Zuntir! I especially love the shape of the cab on the first one (great use of the suicide doors for shaping purposes) and the nice colour combo on the second. Do you have a Flickr or MOCpages account? If so, I'd be very glad to have your cars in the Vintage Cars Groups. Keep up the good work! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Good job on these two cars Zuntir! I love the two tone roadster Quote

Amset-Rah Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Nicely done! The latter makes me think of one of those Adventurers cars of the 90s (Mainly because that tan chassis). Quote

Aliu Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 I liked the first car which is so cool and probably a challange to build a lot. Meanwhile the second one also looks good. Quote
