zhancobricks Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I built this car a few weeks ago. It's a 6-wide Ferrari 458, the mid-engine sports car. To keep the car low and make minifigs can sit, I didn't make the roof, but it still looks pretty good. Take a look! Here's the famous V8 engine of Ferrari. Some luggages can be put into the front of the car. And there's how I put the rear mirrors... interior Put away the roof and change some parts... It becomes the 458 Spider! (the roadster version) Thanks for watching! Quote
coffeeandcake Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 been wanting awhile to see a minifig scale supercar (: it is looking good! Quote
soundwave_sw Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 good job on the overall shape. If only there were a way to smooth out the front and still get that shape. You could probably put the figs in without their legs to make it look like they fit more naturally. play well Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 So much details for a little super car! Great work! Quote
solta Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Nice Ferrari. Front end is very cleverly designed. Quote
ER0L Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I really like this. The upside down front is a great idea, and there are some nice curves in it. The backend is very well done, too. Fixing the rear view mirror like this is a nice aspect. The only thing I'd suggest is to extend the wheelbase, at least for one stud. I guess this would improve the proportions quite a bit. Anyway great job! Looking forward for your future car mocs! Quote
