Brickington Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 This has to be one of the best pirates stories i have seen so far. Sorry if you get this question a lot but are you the guy who does Brickington sails forth on youtube? No I am not. Another guy did that and I only heard of it when he saw this. Weird how we had the same idea. About the story, I should probably have the next chapter in the next couple days, due to that I have a lot of free time. Quote
Purpearljellyblob Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Nice one Brickington Looking forward to more! Quote

Can't wait to see the next chapter! Brickington sounds like a name that most lego-pirate lovers think of when they are looking for a username or character name. Quote

Brickington Posted February 27, 2013 Author Posted February 27, 2013 Chapter 4: A Great Surprise Commodore Brickington waited at the Captain Pub but never received anything. He waited till he was the last man at the pub and was about to leave when the pub owner came up to him and gave him a letter. Commodore Brickington then went back to his room and read the letter. He opened it a it said: "Meet me at the alley right beside the corner on 3rd street at eleven o' clock tomorrow." Brickington was confused, but he had to go. He woke up the next morning and told two of his soldiers to keep a distance, but follow wherever he and this man went. The last thing Commodore Brickington wanted this to be was a trap. Brickington was very surprised. This man wasn't a pirate at all. In fact he looked like a well to do man. Brickington: "Well hello. What do you have to tell me?" Brickington tried not to look surprised. Anthony: "First of all, my name is Anthony Hathaway, but you can call me Anthony. Sorry I couldn't meet you at the pub, my wife wanted me to watch the kids while she went to a friend's house for dinner." Brickington: "Oh okay." Brickington was now feeling that his time is going to be wasted. "So about Joe Gardner, he said you would explain everything." Anthony: "Yes, but not here, it isn't safe. Let's take a walk shall we?" And with that, Brickington and Anthony left and went outside the city and found a little open place where they decided to talk. All while the Brickington's two soldiers followed them without the knowing of Anthony. Anthony: "So I came to know Mr. Gardner by his father. See I was Joe Gardner's father's much younger business partner. Together we made a handsome sum and I can remember his father always wanting his rebellious son to take over his share of the business. But that was not Joe Gardner. Gardner is a good guy at heart, but is just simply rebellious. He was at first a thief and got married. His wife left him saying that he was stealing to much. That really did a toll on him and he tried to change his life around. Then suddenly his father, my business partner, became strangely disappeared. His father was quite close with Governor Berkeley, so Gardner went to him for help. But..." He was interrupted by movement around them and then suddenly a group of the Governor's guards came out. The Captain of the guards stood out and had one pair of handcuffs. Captain: "What's going on here?" Brickington: "That doesn't matter you. Now move along." Captain: "I'm sorry but you have no control over me and I have orders." And with that, one of the guards stabbed Anthony in the stomach. With that Brickington swinged at one of the guards and cut his head off. Brickington's memory from there was blurry. The last memory he had was that he had one of the guards' head on his sword and seeing a dead Anthony and the Captain and a couple of other guards. To be Continued...Maybe Quote
Volt Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 That was a good one! Makes me wonder if the "governor" and his men are actually bad guys... Quote

Brickington Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 Guys, what's up with thinking the Governor is bad? Why would he want to rebel against his own government? Quote
