Hello,

I am a new member to this forum. I had given up legos for the last 10 years. I recently bought the X-wing Fighter (6212) on Ebay for $53 and the Tie Interceptor (6206) at my local Target for $20. I have to say lego designs have evolved unbelieveably and am thinking of getting more sets in the SW line.

Thought of this interesting idea. If you guys have to build a SW space force out of all available lego star wars sets (could be both Imperial or Rebel and both classic and the new episodes) what would your ideal forces look like given you could choose only one from each category. For instance:-

Heavy fighters: X-wing, B-wing, Y-wing......

Medium range: Naboo(2007 upcoming), Episode one sets,.....

Heavy carriers: Imperial shuttle

Main army: clones, droids, stormtroopers,....

Main attack land craft: AT-AT, ......

Support land craft: AT-ST,........

Remember all episode, all year, all sides sets are fair game.

Thanks, this is a great forum

Starting from 2004, when they re-design the Star Wars product, I start collecting them because their design, outlook, structure and idea is great 8-

That's gonna be so expensive...

I have most SW sets and my collection is worth moe then I paid for it. Take a look at the shop prices and then start guessing what it'll cost you...

Ijust got the new AT-ST, and it's great. Really nicely put together, looks well, stands well, and is nicely in proportion to minifigs. There are also some great bricks in the set if you don't mind bley. The older version wasn't bad, but had some stability issues, and the scale was way off. Quite funny to see the two beside each other.

I wonder when we can expect a redesigned AT-AT? Perhaps they can get it so the head doesn't keep falling apart.

*vader* Get what you like the best. The one thing I did wrong was I decided to like all of them. I now realize that I mainly love OT sets, and want more of those. The new '07 sets look pretty sweet, but I mainly love OT sets. Focus on whatever sets you want. Just a hint, the ROTS sets are few in numbers in the stores, and they only offer a few online. Episode II sets are only available from Ebay or Bricklink, and the OT sets are the main sets on Lego. com and stores. If you want sets from atleast a year ago, you have to use Ebay or bricklink. Happy Hunting! *yoda*
