Hello,

I've been cleaning out my LEGO liar, and ran across all my old blue train track from my childhood.

What I found (after throwing away all broken parts):

146 2x8 white plates (not all so white anymore...)

181 straights

112 outer curves

115 inner curves

4 left & 4 right switches

2 intersections (1 is slightly broken but still usable)

There's lots of fading/discolorization, and it sure looks used, but it is still perfectly functional (good ol' LEGO!)

I have washed it all, so it's clean.

If any EB member living in Switzerland is interested, please let me know.

You can pick it all up for free - or we can work something out about the postage.

Why free? some may be asking. Well, I just wouldn't feel comfortable selling it due to the condition it's in (it was played with ALOT :classic: ), and I think it would be a shame just to get rid of it when someone else might be happy to have it. Simple as that.

The reason for only offering this to members in Switzerland is becuase of the horrendous postal cost of sending it to another country. Sorry...

Hi Gratefulnat...

I know a few people who could provide homes for the blue track - and yes international postage is horrendous (good old swisspost). For cleaning the white bricks I picked up some Vanish + Oxyclean from Coop or Migros - both work well during the long summer months but the haze around Zuri-Oberland slows the cleaning process...

Im based near Schwerzenbach by the way.
