Hi everyone. This is my first post, long time reader of Eurobricks, it's one of those sites i visit every day several times!

I have been collecting Lego for many years, and have used the Lego Designed by Me service lots before it shut down. Don't know why it shut down i think i gave them enough money to keep it profitable.

Anyway, here are some of my trains. I have posted many images on my Brickshelf pages.

What i do is design in LDD, then put the models together. As my skills have increased and after seeing lots of techniques from others i generally spend lots of time modifying my original creations.

I have a fascination of all German public transport as you will see even though i live in Australia.

My creations are not 100% realistic as you see, i try to make them best as possible to match what would be commercially viable models for the LEGO group. ie simple construction and design.

One of my latest models is a BR111 class loco. I add the logos in Photoshop. I will add the finished build images once i have my parts delivered and constructed.

I saw some of the model train manufacturers are making the NS locos in DB colours. So could not help add one of those to my fleet.

And my BR182 loco. I will add some decals on the side to make the sloping windows too, as you will see in the bricklink folder.

This model requires a bit of paint to the bogie parts to make them dark grey.

As for some of the built models, here are some links to some of my S-Bahn stock.

Once i work out how to embed images i will add the pics directly.

Anyway enjoy, and thanks for the great Lego community we have here on Eurobricks.

Regards

Mikibrick -- Those are some great trains; thank you for sharing! I really like the detail you put into the undercarriages.

Cheers from Claremore, Oklahoma USA! :classic:

You've a lot more in your Brickshelf folder. You sure like your trains in red and white don't you?

The one you call BR1515 in your Brickshelf is the NS class 1600/1700/1800. For a long time the 1637 was the only one in red, used by NS Cargo:

With DB Schenker now operating in the Netherlands they have a fleet of 1600's that they're painting in their red livery:

Great looking trains, I particularly like the NS DB loco, the DB Schenker livery is one we have here in the UK too since DB took over EWS, although most of the loco's are still in liveries from 1, 2 or 3 owners ago!
