CopMike Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Hi! I was in the LEGO shop today and we started talking about the price of the sets. The store manager made me aware of a thing that I totally had missed because I tend to buy a lot of the sets abroad/from abroad - it was the price of the 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer. In the first catalog of 2006, the one from january, the price was 1199:- (Swedish kronor) which is about $170. The next catalog that came out in the summer of 2006 the price was raised up to 1499:-, about $214 >:-(. Same picture, same set , 25% raise a half year later *wacko* - what up with that? And you Quote
Christian Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 The same thing happend to the 6211 in Denmark. In the first catlogue it was 999 Dkkr and in the next one it was 1199 Dkkr (About $200). A raise of 20%. About "POBP" ;-) I pretty sure that 7201 Final duel II was 79 Dkkr here, and the new battlepacks are 129Dkkr (About $22) Quote
Darthking623 Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Well nothing happened in england *y* Quote
Hobbes Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Have any of you seen prijacking like the Swedish 6211 and how is your new POBP Quote
Vader Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 I would be very surprised if you did get a reply from lego on that one Hobbes, legos pricing is beyond a joke at times. We here in the UK have been getting ripped off for years, a quick look at the kids example shows you all you need to know. >:-( I believe *yoda* did a chart compairing the difference in prices so perhaps he can show everyone how bad it really is.
