Simon_S Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 (edited) This is my entry to the Winter Holiday Celebration Contest over at CC! Muharram the first: Happy new year! (I know, I'm late ) Every year, on the first of Muharram the Loreesi celebrate the new year. The Imam, their religious leader holds a short speech from the roof of the mosque. After this speech, they all chear up with golden beakers, which they bought 10 minutes before at Achmed's market stand... Yeah, he knows how to make business ! Btw. All are original LEGO pieces in this MOC (even the rug, it's a Duplo piece), but there's one modified piece: The beard of Achmed. I hope you like it Edited January 12, 2013 by Buurli_Burri Quote
Kai NRG Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Nice job! I like the cleanness of the house, and the stall is very good as well! Great touch putting the plants and a mouse on the roof! And do I see an assassin walking in the corridor? Or was he just the one told to open the wine barrel? Quote

Yeah, I first started with the figs and then built the rest. Usually I do it inverted. Great Work! Indeed, you are a bit late! Thank you! I've already half finished my next MOC in the middle eastern style ! Quote
Mahtion Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I can't see the images, even the links directly to Flickr aren't displaying anything. Your MOC sounds great and full of details but I would like to see it. Quote
mrcp6d Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Nice! I like the planters on the roof, I don't think I ever would have thought of that. Quote
Vader X Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Wow! Their is so much going on in the small amount of shape used, yet it flows so well. Really nice layout. Great MOC! Quote
