Jason C. Hand Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 (edited) Here is my next MOC: a version of the USS Enterprise from 2009's Star Trek. No need for gab, let me just go right to a few of the photos: More photos at my Flickr (Flickshot30)! Please feel free to download and use however you choose. Comments/suggestions/gripes welcome. UPDATE: Both warp engines redone and pushed further back on ship. Edited January 13, 2013 by Jason C. Hand Quote
chemistry master Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I like your version, but the engines seem a little off to me. Thet may be too big or something. Quote
Si-MOCs Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Nice build! But I agree with Chem Master, I think the engines are too far forward / engines extend a bit further back. Quote
Jason C. Hand Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Ok guys, thanks for suggestions. I'll get on them ASAP and re-post the model. Quote
Faefrost Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 It looks good. Just keep an eye on the neck when you seek to build it in actual brick. The one great pitfall off LDD is it does not calculate for strength, weight or gravity. Much like the classic AMT plastic models, the Lego neck will have issues supporting the saucer unless you use some re in forcement. Quote
