Edwin Korstanje Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 , you like Lego but Lego sure loves you .It is fortunate that the ships don´t have to work or its proportions are not limited by parts like wheels, that allows you to make an incredible amount of detail. One question, where is the fake engine and how many cylinders has the engine of a boat like this?. I am sorry Jorgeopesi, in the RPA 15 i don,t build a engine room, because that makes it to much torsion in the ship, the weight off the complete ship it's to much and if you want to lift it up it's twist, i make in mine Smit Bronco a engine room whit 2 working 6 inline cilinder engine complete whit working propellers, but make that ship weaker in stifnest. blaz62 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Wow this is amazing ship with some amazing details (crane..). I like it!! Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I honestly think you underestimate the power of liftarm, as an example put cars on a large scale such as Sheepo do, on only 4 points, full of mechanisms and endure, I'm sure it can be done a hard boat, hard enough to get details in or a support which serves as a reinforcement outside. You have to understand me I always build in a small space with many mechanisms, with so much space I go crazy . Quote

One are the technic one whit full functions and the second are pure for the model. The RPA 15 have a studded dek and i don't want that its cracking when lifting it up. Today i got new bricks in house and go furhter on it, see photo's complete update. Thanks everbody for the great comments so far. Greets Edwin. Quote
Carsten Svendsen Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I love it! Considering the amount of time you've used to build I think it's absolutely astonishing with all those details. Did you make an LDD file beforehand? Quote

I start building and see what kind off problems i got and then find a solution for it. O and for the real LDD, Gekke Ted wand's to make it in LDD, but i hope he can follow mine builing speed ? Now go find out if it floats!;-) Finished no way, there are stil missing about 2000 parts. and don,t want to try if it floats, because there is no engine room whit engine's in it and is front heavy and the balanse is to much to the front and go strait noise down under Edited January 29, 2013 by VFracingteam Quote
