The body of 4x4 truck seems too high from the wheels. :sceptic: I think it would look better if gap between wheels and body was not that much.

Did anyone try to lower suspension (without a massive modification)?

Installing softer springs would lower the truck, at the expense of suspension travel, obviously.

The shock absorbers on the 9398 are extra hard, the same shock absorbers can be had in both medium and soft, too.

That will not work. Then the car will lean over to one side! It will not stand straight up!

You mean just attaching the spring to some other slots as shown in attached image?

I don't see how the ones you circled will work; they'd make it even higher.

You need to either attach the top end somewhere higher and/or the bottom end somewhere lower, while still having enough room and degrees of freedom to allow it to move. Precisely how to achieve this is up to you.

Alternatively you could get hold of some of the hard 6.5L springs: 731c04.gif, and use those instead. You may only have to swap a blue axle pin for a black friction pin on the yellow end, or may have to do a little engineering.

I have just checked, the 6.5L springs do work, although they are offset by 1 which seems to make the axle wobble more than usual.

to correct that, I replaced the 3L pin with pinhole and the straight pin connector with the axle connector #2, with a 5L axle connecting the two sides.

I hope that makes sense.

Ah. I'll stick to the motorcycles then :classic: I guess that is because there is no oil shock absorber inside the spring...
