Zaktan of the Shadows Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Cool! It looks cool! Isn't the magnetic peice a LEGO train peice? Cool anyways! Love the shipwreck! -ZotS Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 This set really isn't the greatest but it has a nice overall "appeal factor". It's the thought of an old sunken Spanish Galleon, the gold treasure, and an adventure sub to go searching through the mysterious deep waters in search of the unknown. The box art adds to the appeal. I'm still debating if I want this set, but I do like it even though it could have been 100 times better with a larger and more designed shipwreck. Quote

dillthepill Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 After 8 long hours of school, when I least expected it, I saw that the Aquaraiders Shipwreck came today. I will post a review soon. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 im curious B... right now, are you planning on getting any of the AR sets ???- BrickMiner I'm not sure. You get to a point when your collection is getting too large. I like this set though and think it's the best of the collection. At $25, the price is good. Generally, once I start buying the mid-sized sets though, I'll want the entire collection. I have the two smaller sets now, but still have not opened. D-The-P: Looking forward to seeing your review. You get to a point when your collection is getting too large.yup, i know what you mean... im finally getting to a point where i can't have everything on display at once. im sure others are way past that point... but it's hard when you finally get there...what to put away ??? :'-( Generally, once I start buying the mid-sized sets though, I'll want the entire collection. I have the two smaller sets now, but still have not opened.the angler fish set is deceiving by the box art... i was "saving" mine for a while too... but it's worth opening and by far my favorite... but im prone to favoring small and medium sized sets... as you probably know ;-) - BrickMiner Quote
Hobbes Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 It seems to be available at S@H Europe for EUR 19.29: 7776 on S@H The price seems to be a special price, too, and at 19.29 you pay the lowest shipping if you decide to just buy this set *sweet* Edit: Just noticed this is the 127,000th post (including deleted posts). Congrats EB *y* ;-) Quote
BearHeart Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Just picked this set up in TRU. I was just browsing the LEGO sections and was very shocked to see this. I saw it before but I thought it was a cancelled set or that it would be released mid-year. Quote
Hobbes Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 This is interesting: I ordered the Shipwreck last week off S@H and when I checked my order status earlier ("shipped" - yay!) I clicked on the set and got a "Sorry, item is not available in this country". I checked other countries and it seems it's not available in Europe anymore. It is available in the US now, though... Looks like it was a pretty short promo... I'm wondering if and when it'll pop up again... Quote
xwingyoda Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Ouch, I really don't like the sound of that at all |-/ My guess is that TLC is really bad with that dreadfull combination Offer/Demand (loool) and I sincerely hope that this set will pop in TRU shortly and on SAH ;-) *yoda* Quote
alex54 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Yes, it's sound very very bad... I just want it! >:-( Please TLC :'-( Quote

Hobbes Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 That was the price listed on amazon.de from the beginning. Guess the lower price was an unannounced promotion or something... Quote
