lukeandahalf Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) Hello there, Luke here from Canada. I have posted a few times in the Technic, Mindstorms and Model Team forum but haven't got around to introducing my self... I have loved Lego since I was a child, with a "dark period" of about six years. I enjoy Technic most, but dabble in Town, and have one 9v Train set, the 4558 Metroliner. My other hobbies include hiking and camping, photography, and technical drawing. I am also a lover of all animals, having had dogs, cats, fish, rats, mice and hamsters. As a side note, I just wanted to take this time to say what an inspiration some of the builders on this site have been. Not just in the models they create, but the help and information given to "endless September"ers like my self. Humbly, thank you from all of us... Edited January 2, 2013 by lukeandahalf Quote

tedbeard Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Hello there, Luke here from Canada. Hey do you know Jacque from Canada? I met him once and he was cool... Just kidding, welcome from the wet coast! I assume you are back East - as are 99.9% of the rest of you compared to me. ;) Quote

dr_spock Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Welcome aboard. I think there are a couple of other Winnipegers here. Quote
tedbeard Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I used to live in Ottawa as a kid but having been back in Victoria for the last 30 years I can safely say I could no longer tolerate such a climate. I can only imagine the cold in Winnipeg. Stay warm and build on. :) Quote
