I saw the space recollection entry on TBB and thought a castle (all right, any history or adventure) summary would be great as well. So please post your faviourite(s) MOC(s) from 06 (and name the builder if possible)...

So here are mine:

Meant to do this around new years, but I've been sorting lego ; )

Anyway please share your nominations/faviourites/memorable MOCs of 06!

I think "Entrance to the caves" is by far the best MOC i have seen this year *wub* . Another note worthy off topic MOC was the stunning "droid contol ship" 8-

Is this thread about H&A MOCs or MOCs in general? I can't really tell it from the title. If it's about MOCs in general, I suppose this should be in an other forum... Well, back to the topic. My favorite castle MOC from 2006 is without a doubt Entrance to the caves... My favorite Pirate MOC from 2006 is Puerto Brico...

I was thinking Castle (Generously expanded to H and A ;-) X-D ) as that is all I can claim to have in any way closely scanned.... A pirate version of the thread would also be interesting, or just lump them in here! I was just looking for a nice collection of inspirational MOCs contributed from different perspectives...

well, my knowledge of MOCs maybe limited to EB a little (especially considering i don't know when some of the MOCs on brickshelf were first published)...

so im gonna stick to...

"Best EuroBricks History & Adventure MOCs of 2006."

jacob c's border bridge:

and i remember really liking piglet's adventurer's airship:

and as brickster knows... his grave stone hit close to home. may favorite is the whispering windmill. brickster is such a powerful story teller... to fully appriciate his MOCs you really have to read the stories.

and mrts's street scene barely makes the cut (published on december 22nd ;-) )

Well, for me its something like this:

Favorite Castle: 002.jpg_thumb.jpg

Jacob c's El Katar takes top spot.

Favorite mid-sized MOC: 1.jpg_thumb.jpg

Stuifzand's Brickerlo Inn is my favorite mid-sized MOC. Perfect detailing.

Favorite small MOC: 01_wardrobe1.jpg_thumb.jpg

Marakoeschtra's minifigs and furniture take this category by a large margin. Great furniture and minifig designs make Marakoeschtra one of the best builder's out there. This year's stuff was great!

Best MOC (other): 1-frankfurt.jpg_thumb.jpg

This trainstation is probably the best MOC I've seen in the past few years. Incredible size does not compromise the amazing detailing found here. Absolutely mind-boggling!

Great year

Lookin forward to 2007.

Thanks BM. Appreciate the nomination. I'd like to enter all of Grave Stone as one MOC:

I agree though. Marakoeschtra's one of my favorite builders as well. His work is incredibly detailed, and absolutely full of life. Great choice.

Yeah, I would also like to include marakoeschtra

Marakoeschtra is also one of my favorite builders, but most of his creations were built in 2005, including the two linked above. He put the date he built them in the description on Brickshelf. ;-)

I'm going to try to make a list soon, but there's so many creations to look through... 8-
