As part of my career plans I am investing in an iphone 4S. Anyone know how the camera is for taking pics of lego?

define "good". for some people good is pictures done by iphone 3gs 2megapixel camera, for some pictures taken by Nikon D7000 are very bad quality.

i dont know if 4s would be named as investment. you would be better off with samsung S3 asits camera is a lot better then 4s, though if you still want to keep with iphone, then iphone 5 camera is rally damn good, but if i would be thinking seriously about camera in my phone i would go with nokia lumia 920 or nokia 808, you just cant beat 41megapixel camera in a phone!

Alternate title: "Is the camera of iphone 4S good at taking pictures of LEGO models?"

Alternate forum: Anywhere but Technic!

I own a iPhone 4s 32gb. It has a 8megapixel camera and I use it very often to post pictures on Facebook, Flickr,.. It is a good camera, but making good videos with it is quite a challenge. If you want an iPhone for your work I would buy one, you can definitly use it for showing your Lego creation to us.

Hi,

The phone is an investment in my future, which if it works out means I will be able to buy many many technic lego sets. Then it occured to me that maybe I could use the camera to show my models as well. We will see. I will be able to watch all those youtube vids of lego mods whilst in the kitchen cooking, cleaning or when in the bath. Now back to lego technic.

This is a LEGO discussion forum and although you plan to take pictures of LEGO, it's quite a stretch.

I'd try an iPhone forum for photo examples and opinions of many more iPhone owners.

Thank you.
